AND OUTCRY

‘Outcry’ refers to a sudden misfortune that elicits an outcry or a groan. Hashem visits such misfortunes upon us when we fall into חטא, to chastise us and urge us to return to Him. When the time will come, and the great judges and teachers will once again restore the full power and influence of the Torah upon us, we will be rescued from all חטא. No more will we be in need of any suffering that is sent as chastisement and as reminders from Hashem.
