והמרחם כי לא תמו חסדיך

והמרחם כי לא תמו חסדיך
AND HE THAT HAS MERCY, THAT YOUR KINDNESSES DO NOT END

Hashem is “He that has mercy”, for He alone is the only truly merciful One. So great is Your mercy “that Your kindnesses do not end”, for not only do You have mercy upon us and spare us from punishment for our wrong-doings and sins, but You even continue unceasingly to bestow kindnesses upon us, even though we are undeserving; You alone are the truly merciful One.
