ולך נאה להודות
AND TO YOU IT IS FITTING TO THANK (PRAISE; ELEVATE)

Just as we begin this Brachah with “מודים אנחנו לך”, giving thanks to You alone, so too we conclude “ולך נאה להודות”, “to You alone it is fitting to thank”. Even though we study the different causes, and even though we are obligated to be grateful to our parents and teachers and all our benefactors, still we know that You alone are the cause of all goodness, and therefore our true gratitude is directed only toward You, and to You alone it is fitting to give full thanks.
