SHOULD SPEEDILY BE CUT OFF
In this ברכה, the word מהרה, speedily, is used three times, in addition to the expression כרגע, signifying the urgency of this tefillah. Every additional day that these minim and apikorsim exist is a peril to the World, for they poison our minds and turn us away from Hashem, and they therefore must speedily be cut off and destroyed.
