Your goodness and Your mercy truly have no end, and we have therefore always hoped to You since the beginning of our nation, and each one of us individually, as well, has hoped to You from the beginning of our lifetime; and all of our hopes were solely לך, in You alone, not in any other object, person, or cause at all; only in You, Hashem.
