רצה ה’ א-להינו
BE FAVORABLE HASHEM OUR G-D

In this brachah, the word רצון, favor, is mentioned three times. The dearest wish of Hashem’s people is to do His will and gain His favor. “To do Your will, my G-d, I desire” (Tehillim 40:9).

Our success in this world is to earn Hashem’s favor and thereby gain His closeness and love, and ultimately, that the Shechinah rest once more upon our nation as it did in the days of the First Beis Hamikdash. We beg Hashem that He favor our service, which rightfully should be in the Beis Hamikdash, but which we continue to offer Him even today with unparalleled devotion.
