Q:

What’s your opinion of yeshiva people who ride motor bikes?

A:

Look, a little bit of fun everybody is entitled to have. It depends where they’re riding it. If they’re riding to the yeshivah so it’s certainly good.

TAPE #172 (June 1977)

Q:
If there was a show on television about the Lubavitcher, would you watch it?

A:
I couldn’t because I don’t have one.

TAPE # 70 (April 1975)

Q:
If I’m getting rid of my TV, should I sell it or break it?

A:
Neither. You should dig out the window, the insides of it, and make it into a bookshelf for seforim.

TAPE # E-102 (March 1997)

Q:
Is it a good idea for a woman to save money by washing cloth diapers instead of using disposable pampers?

A:
This is a good question that will need better heads than mine. It’s a question with a number of implications but they are so complicated that we’ll leave this for somebody that is more capable than me.

TAPE # 47 (February 1975)

Q:
There’s supposedly a letter written by Aristotle that’s quoted in some seforim saying that he did a teshuva and he admits that there’s a Hakodosh Boruch Hu. Is it the Rav’s opinion that this is authentic?

A:
There’s a story that Aristotle became a Jew. I think it’s nuts.  It’s ridiculous.  I don’t believe in it at all.
