A question that’s asked many times. People say, “How can I build up my self-confidence?”
And I say, what do you need it for? What do you need self-confidence for? Here I am; look at me – I have no self-confidence. But I have to speak to the people so I do it anyhow. I do it without self-confidence, that’s all. I’m a bashful fellow. I do it anyhow. Who needs self-confidence? Go out and do what you have to do, and that’s all.
