Q:Can a kollel man who leaves the yeshiva still remain a yeshiva man even while he’s involved in business?
Q: If a person feels like he hasn’t accomplished enough in his learning, how can you expect him to be happy working at a full-time job in order to support his family? He wants to sit and shteig and become a talmid chochom.
Q: If a woman is capable of working, she’s a very capable woman, but she would rather stay home and take care of the children, should her husband stay in Kollel learning, and pressure her to get a job?
Q: The Rav has spoken to us often about common sense being an important part of how we approach certain questions. Wouldn’t common sense tell us that one has to work in order to make a living? So is sitting in Kollel common sense?
